Bin ID X-Ray System suits general security applications.

Press Release Summary:

Available for all security screening applications, RadMark(TM) Airport Security Bin Identification System uses uniquely identifiable, x-ray visible tag placed under rim of each bin. Identification code on radiopaque tag matches bin identification label, and tag itself can also perform both functions. When scanner operator selects bin to be checked, it is visually identified on x-ray scanner screen by ID number. Bin can then be segregated for further screening by visually matching bin label.

Radiopaque Solutions, Inc. Releases RadMark(TM) Airport Security Bin Identification System for General Security Use

BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. -- Radiopaque Solutions, Inc. (www.radiopaque1.com) has released the RadMark(TM) Airport Security Bin Identification System for general security use. The RadMark(TM) x-ray visible ID system is designed to reduce the time spent by TSA screeners and speed travelers through airport security checkpoints. The system, previously only available to federal government agencies, is now cleared for use in all security screening applications.

"Local courthouses, private and public sites that screen people through x-ray scanners can increase throughput with this system," said Thomas Lachner, CEO of RSI.

The RadMark(TM) bin identification system, developed by Radiopaque Solutions, Inc., is based upon a simple concept. If you can see it you can identify it. A uniquely identifiable, x-ray visible, tag is placed under the rim of each bin. The identification code on the radiopaque tag matches the identification label on the bin. The tag itself can also perform both functions. When the scanner operator selects a bin to be checked it is visually identified on the x-ray scanner screen by the ID number. The bin can then be easily segregated for further screening through visually matching the bin label.

The system uses Radiopaque Solutions' proprietary radiopaque coating technology combined with LASER processing to create the unique identification system. The process is currently in use by the medical device industry to create x-ray visible products for use in surgical procedures.

Radiopaque Solutions, Inc. has pioneered the development of innovative x-ray visible coating technology to produce a line of unique and distinctive x-ray visible products for use in the security, medical and inspection/calibration industries.
