Supplied in SOT23-5L package with 0.7 mm profile, VCUT05A4-05S-G-08 offers low capacitance of 16 pF typ at 0 V and leakage current of less than 0.1 µA at working voltage of 5 V for ESD protection in range of data port applications. This bidirectional symmetrical (BiSy) ESD protection diode array, which provides transient protection for 4 data lines as per IEC 610000-4-2 (ESD) at ±25 and ±20 kV, also offers surge current protection according to IEC 61000-4-5 at greater than 3.5 A.

Vishay's New 4-Line BiSy Protection Array Offers Low Typical Capacitance of 16 pF Typical and Low Leakage Current of < 0.1 µA in SOT23-5L Package
MALVERN, Pa. - Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH) today announced the new 4-line VCUT05A4-05S-G-08 bidirectional symmetrical (BiSy) ESD protection diode array. The device offers low capacitance and leakage current for ESD protection in a wide range of data port applications such as USB 2.0 in PCs and portable consumer electronics.
The new protection array offers low capacitance of 16 pF typical at 0 V, and a low leakage current of < 0.1 µA at the working voltage of 5 V. Its widely used SOT23-5L package allows easy handling in production while featuring an ultra-low profile of 0.7 mm for board space savings.
The VCUT05A4-05S-G-08 provides transient protection for four data lines as per IEC 610000-4-2 (ESD) at ± 25 kV (air discharge) and ± 20 kV (contact discharge). The device offer high surge current protection according to IEC 61000-4-5 at > 3.5 A.
The new array is compliant to RoHS directive 2002/95/EC and in accordance to WEEE 2002/96/EC. Its lead (Pb)-free construction offers pure tin pin plating and a halogen-free molding compound.
