March 7, 2013 - Supplied in low-profile unitized housing, Series SW44834 offers circuitry from SPST to DPDT, and momentary or alternate action switching mechanisms to meet customer requirements. Switch ratings are 2.0 A resistive and 0.5 A inductive at 30 Vdc or 125 Vac. With operating pressure of 2 lb and plunger travel of 0.125 in., switch can be actuated to time stamp event on full time DVR safety video recording. During replay, operator can quickly locate event mark to study video more closely.

Electro-Mech's New Bi Color LED Switch Offers Safety Signal Feedback For Security DVR Recording


SOUTH EL MONTE, Calif. -- Electro-Mech Components, Inc. has introduced the Series SW44834 Bi-Color LED Switch Series offering an ideal solution for DVR signal switching. End use application is for operator (bus driver) to actuate switch to time stamp an event on full time DVR safety video recording. During replay, operator can quickly locate event mark on playback to study video more closely.

The SW44834 Series derives from the Electro-Mech Series 20, comes in a low-profile unitized housing, circuitry available from SPST to DPDT, and momentary or alternate action switching mechanisms to meet customer requirements. An optional clear or translucent (smoke) grey lens cover is available for protection or to achieve hidden legends.

Switch ratings are 2.0 Amps resistive, 0.5 Amp inductive at 30VDC or 125VAC. Other features of the SW44834 / Series 20 include an operating pressure of 2 lbs. (± 1 lb.), plunger travel of 0.125", weight of less than one ounce, and a rated life of 100,000 minimum actuations.

Interconnect with solder lug terminals, PCB terminals, or wire pigtail & connector.

Unit pricing starts at $12.90 each at 1,000 pieces, depending upon LED’s and add-on options, with delivery of 7-8 weeks ARO. Complete specifications are available upon request. Custom configurations are also available.
