July 15, 2002 - Custom Battery Packs can be made in prismatic, cylindrical, coin, or button cell shapes. Connectors can include flying leads, pressure contacts, solder or surface mount connectors, and quick-connects. Batteries can mount via brackets or stand-offs inside product packages, or can be mounted in snap-on plastic cases outside product. Primary chemistries such as alkaline, nickel-cadmium, nickel-metal-hydride, lithium ion, and LMNO2 are available.
