Designed to firmly secure inserted batteries, surface mount AA and A Battery Clips feature flow hole SMT solder tail design, which optimizes joint strength and assures battery retention. Units are made of .012 in. thick, nickel-plated steel and are available in bulk, or on tape and reel with 125 pieces per 15.0 in. reel. A 44 mm wide Polystyrene Carrier Tape, meeting ANSI/EIA-481 standards, is used as reel with parts mounted on 24 mm pitch.

Keystone's New SMT "AA" & "A" Battery Clips
Astoria, NY... In keeping with accelerated demands for "AA" and "A" surface mount Battery Clips for dense packaging use, Keystone Electronics has developed a new group of low profile clips which firmly secure inserted batteries and withstand shock and vibration.
Featured are an exclusive "flow hole" SMT solder tail design which significantly enhances joint strength and assures battery retention. At the same time, low profiles make the clips ideal for dense PCB placements.
The new SMT clips are made of .012"(.30mm) thick, nickel plated steel and is available in bulk (part #53) or on tape and reel (part#53TR) with 125 pieces per 15.0 inch reel. A 44mm wide Polystyrene Carrier Tape, meeting ANSI/EIA-481 standards, is used as the reel with parts mounted on a 24mm pitch. The new clips are priced from .12¢ each, loose parts in bulk. Delivery is from stock through Keystone's global distribution network. On line ordering is available.
