LX Battery Charger Series from Nexergy Offers Built-in Safety Precautions

COLUMBUS, OH (USA) - Nexergy, a leading designer, integrator, and manufacturer of battery packs and chargers, announces their LX Series of battery chargers specifically designed for Lithium-ion and Lithium-polymer batteries. Special safety precautions make certain that the charging voltage is precisely regulated to the needs of the battery pack, ensuring maximum battery cycle life. In addition, maximum temperature and charging time can be set to terminate charging in the event of a charging fault. Most important, pre-charge qualification provides a full charge only when cell voltage and temperature are within the appropriate range.

The LX Series of chargers differentiates Nexergy from other providers of portable energy solutions, in that Nexergy is one of only a handful of companies who provide chargers for their manufactured battery packs. The LX Series includes 17 standard battery chargers that can be configured to meet specific customer requirements.

Standard features of the LX Series include universal AC input (100 to 240VAC, 50/60Hz) to accommodate a variety of plug adapters, alignment of current and voltage to meet the charging needs of the battery pack, true battery voltage sensing, lightweight packaging, UL and CE certification, and FCC/IEC compliant for EMC standards.
The LX Series is available in either AC wall plug-in or desktop (with IEC320 inlet) styles. For wall plug version, manufacturers can choose North American folding, Continental Europe folding, or UK fixed AC blades. Several output plug styles are also available.

Nexergy is an ISO 9001: 2000 certified company.
