Speedline Technologies Exhibits Camalot® Xyflexpro™ High Volume Batch Dispenser System at Semicon West 2005

-- System Delivers Highest Throughput Underfill Solution, Lowest Machine Cost per Package Produced --

FRANKLIN, MASSACHUSETTS, USA – July 12, 2005 – Speedline Technologies, Inc. will showcase its innovative Camalot® XyflexPro™ HVB (High Volume Batch) dispenser system during SEMICON West 2005, July 12-14, in the San Francisco, Calif., Moscone Center, at booth number 8705.

The Camalot XyflexPro HVB dispenser system delivers truly dramatic process improvement and cost of ownership benefits with the highest throughput underfill solution on the market. This member of the versatile XyflexPro family uses a proprietary, patent-pending, conveyorless material handling system, and dual dispense heads. Typical performance is three-to-five times faster than conventional single lane systems.

The dramatic increase is achieved by optimizing the number of parts in process to fully absorb long capillary flow times, part transport times, and extended product heating times. Together these design innovations result in maximum dispense head utilization and the ability to process 16 boats/96 parts within the dispense area.

In addition, the design provides high throughput, even when using four or six position boats, a compact footprint for increased clean room space utilization, single station magazine loading/unloading for improved ease of access, reduced maintenance needs, and the ability to organize machines into work cells.

The system includes leading Camalot DU (Dispense Unit) pump technology, with patented positive shut-off auger technology and a continuous flow Multi-Piston Pump with increase flow rates and improved repeatability. The Benchmark software platform, shared with other Speedline Technologies machines, minimizes operator training and is GEM/SECS compatible.

The XyflexPro HVB dispenser system is available immediately from Speedline distributors and representatives. For additional information, contact Speedline Technologies at 1-508-520-0083 or visit www.speedlinetech.com.

The Camalot XyflexPro Family of Dispensers The Camalot XyflexPro dispensing system is distinguished by its calibration-free linear gantry drive system, small footprint, and ability to meet any application need through easy-to-add options. Accurate, flexible, and configurable, XyflexPro equipment excels at both SMT and semiconductor production applications. The latest addition to the platform is the XyflexPro+, also showcased at Semicon West 2005.
