March 20, 2003 - Simplex Cast Basket Strainers are available with filtration down to 5 microns. Cast iron, bronze, carbon steel, and stainless steel bodies are available in sizes from ½â€“20 in. with flat faced, raised face, butt-weld, threaded (NPT), or socket-weld connections. Baskets may be finished in monel, Hastelloy C, or custom materials, in addition to standard stainless steel.

SSI Equipment Annouces Broader Basket Selection for Simplex Basket Strainers
SSI Equipment, Burlington, Ontario, Canada announces a newly expanded selection of baskets for their Simplex Cast Basket Strainer line. Simplex Basket Strainers are now available with filtration down to 5 microns. In addition to the standard stainless steel baskets, baskets finished in monel or of Hastelloy C or other materials can be supplied to meet customer requirements.
Simplex Basket Strainers are available in a compact, competitively priced unit as well as a high capacity unit, featuring an oversized body with increased open area that reduces pressure drop to meet customer specified deltaP requirements. Cast iron, bronze, carbon steel and stainless steel body Basket Strainers are available in sizes 1/2" to 20" with flat faced, raised face, buttweld, threaded (NPT) or socketweld connections. Simplex Basket Strainers are ideal for use in the Process, Power and Chemical Industries as well as Oil, Gas, Paper, Metals, Water and Waste applications.
