Framework is extruded aluminum channel and attaches directly to machine using mounting bracket hardware. Depending on guard's application, different panel constructions are available, including ½ in. square mesh and polycarbonate panels.

New Barrier Guards For Safeguarding Machines
Rockford, IL - Rockford Systems' new barrier guards are designed and constructed to meet OSHA Regulations and ANSI standards to safeguard personnel from point-of-operation hazards on machinery and other equipment. These barrier guards are made to order and are ideal for all types of applications. They are used on the front, sides, and backside of machines to protect employees.
The basic design of these barrier guards is simple and rugged. The framework is constructed of extruded aluminum channel and attaches directly to the machine using mounting bracket hardware.
Depending on the barrier guard's application, different panel constructions are available. Sturdy ½" square black or yellow mesh can be used, as well as polycarbonate panels. Black oxidized steel hairpins are also available for providing adjustability when feeding and retrieving material into and out of the machine.
