Combining advanced laser technology and electronics, DualBeam BA-220 manages right of entry into private or secured areas, without interference from sun. Unit will connect to existing access control panels via Wiegand 26-bit format, or interface with computer security system through USB or RS232. All components are mounted in NEMA 4 aluminum housing with internal temperature and humidity control. Transaction log retains last 2,000 decal numbers with time and date.

The Sun Problem Is History
Winter Springs, FL - Barcode Automation, inc. (BAI), in Winter Springs, Florida has resolved the "Sun Problem" with the release of the BA-220 DualBeam Barcode Reader. Barcode readers in the past have often been "blinded" by the sun shining directly into the reader, or being reflected off the barcode. With the major breakthroughs achieved by BAI in laser and electronic technology, the sun does not interfere in any way with the ability of the BA-220 to read barcodes.

The BA-220 DualBeam Barcode Reader will connect to existing access control panels via Wiegand 26bit format, or it can operate as a standalone controller, which allows direct control of one gate. It can also directly interface with a computer security system through USB or RS232. All components are mounted in a NEMA 4 aluminum housing with internal temperature and humidity control. A transaction log retains the last 2,000 decal numbers with time and date. It can be configured at the factory, or easily configured on site. BAI also offers cost effective barcode decals in 56 color combinations.
