With Barcode Image Generator, ConnectCode Barcode Fonts v7.5 supports various parameters to ensure accurate generation of barcodes that can be scanned, including min bar width, bar ratio, and resolution of image. Barcode image can be saved into PNG, JPEG, or Metafile formats. Through Font Encoder, Excel VBA macros, and Crystal Reports formulas, program can also generate MOD 10 check-digit for Serial Shipping Container Code and Global Trade Item Number.

Barcode Fonts Package Adds Image Engine for Generating Barcode Images
ConnectCode is proud to announce the release of a new version of ConnectCode Barcode Fonts (v7.5). This new version adds a full-fledged image engine that allows users to generate professional and high quality barcode images.
Typically, fonts are recommended for creating barcodes. This is because barcode fonts raster to the output device and are not limited to Dots per Inch (DPI) of the computer screen. However there may be scenarios where a barcode image is required. For example, when a user needs to embed a barcode into a web page or send a barcode as an image to a partner when barcode fonts are not available.
The Barcode Image Generator supports various important parameters to ensure accurate generation of barcodes that can be scanned easily. This includes the Min Bar Width, Bar Ratio and Resolution of the image. The barcode image can be saved into different image formats such as PNG, Jpeg or Metafile.
This new version of Barcode Fonts package also provides capabilities to generate the MOD 10 check-digit for the Serial Shipping Container Code (SSCC) and Global Trade Item Number (GTIN). These capabilities are made available in the Font Encoder, Excel VBA macros and Crystal Reports formulas.
