Series 130 consists of Type 131 in polypropylene, Type 132 in PVDF, and Type 133 in PVC and CPVC, all available in sizes 3/8-2 in. Designed for service life of 250,000 cycles, EA 21 actuator is equipped with integrated emergency manual override and automatic adjustment of voltage and frequency for on/off or process control applications. Units include ISO-Namur interface and IP67-rated housing made with flame-retardant, fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene.

George Fischer Introduces Electrically Actuated Ball Valve Type 130 Series Featuring New EA 21 Actuator with Modular Design and Multiple Functionality
TUSTIN, Calif. - Oct. 13, 2004 - George Fischer, Inc. has introduced the new 130 Series of Electrically Actuated Ball Valves featuring the new EA 21 Electric Actuator. The EA21 actuator was designed specifically to complement the modularity and flexibility of the 546 Series valve and provide a system approach to piping system design. The resulting actuated valve series includes the model Type 131 in PP (polypropylene), the Type 132 in PVDF (polyvinylidene fluoride) and the Type 133 in PVC and CPVC, all available in sizes 3/8 through 2".
Designed for a long service life of 250,000 cycles, the EA 21 actuator comes equipped with integrated emergency manual override and automatic adjustment of voltage and frequency for on/off or process control applications. The EA 21 is available with universal automatic voltage adjustment of 100-230 VAC or a 24 AC/DC power module.
Other outstanding features include an IP 67 rated housing manufactured with flame retardant fiberglass-reinforced polypropylene and all stainless steel screws. The unit's ISO-Namur connection interface offers greater flexibility in adding accessories, allowing 10 options available in any combination. These include cycle time adjustment, current monitoring, cycle time monitoring, cycle counting, fail safe, heating element, and position feedback for 4 to 20 mA input. Users can also quickly obtain status monitoring by installing a display for indication and configuration directly on the actuator. The EA 21 actuator is CE, CSA, and UL (pending) certified.
