Las Vegas, Nev. (October 24, 2008) - North American lighting leader, OSRAM SYLVANIA, continues to provide entertainment lighting solutions with the introduction of the OSRAM DOToit ® Backstage Blue(TM). Designed with the successful blueprint of the original DOToit Linear Swivel product, the DOToit Backstage Blue was custom-made for the entertainment industry as a less intrusive light source. The Backstage Blue offers a wide spread of three bright blue LEDs in a linear and compact package controlled with easy touch on and off functionality. The newest DOToit light includes all of the great features as the original, with the added bonus of bi-directionality for wider coverage and an easier battery exchange as no screws are used.
The DOToit Backstage Blue is ideal for areas where directional light is needed, but cannot be detected. Perfect as work lights for touring and road cases or as illumination for light and sound board operators, the Backstage Blue increases the workable light space without unsightly wires.
