Able to hold precision down to Zero (0) Flow range, ZF Series has 50-1,500 psig standard pressure range, 100 mL/min max continuous flow rating, and 1 Lpm max flow rating. Elements of construction include polyimide or SS316 diaphragm, SS316 or Hastelloy body, and several available connections: 1/8 in. NPT as well as 1/16 or 1/8 in. HPLC. Solution targets research applications with intermittent and ultra low gas flows, such as oil reservoir core analysis.

EQUILIBAR Introduces "Zero Flow" Back Pressure Regulator
Equilibar proudly announces the release of its ZF Series back pressure regulator, that holds precision down to the Zero (0) Flow range.
The patent-pending ZF Series is targeted at research applications with intermittent and ultra low gas flows, such as oil reservoir core analysis. Standard pressure range is between 50 psig and 1500 psig. It can also be used for certain corrosive and high temperature applications.
"Our existing Equilibar back pressure regulators hold precision across an amazing 10,000:1 flow rate window," says Equilibar president Jeff Jennings. "However, the ZF was developed for those customers requiring precision at no-flow reactor conditions."
"This regulator is allowing us to measure (core) samples that were thought impossible with steady state techniques," reports a researcher at an East Coast energy development corporation.
