True 75 Ohms BNC HDTV

True 75 ohm BNC transmit HDTV signal undistorted

With the introduction of HD video signals operating at data rate up to 1.485 Gbps for 1080i and 2.97 Gbps for 1080p, BNC connectors need to perform well at significantly higher frequency than standard BNC. Radiall introduces a new range of 75 ohm BNC connectors to meet the broadcast industry's stringent HDTV standards.

Features and benefits

Radiall's new range of BNC 75 ohm HDTV connectors features gold plated center and outer contacts which provide very good electrical performance up to 6 GHz. They are easily field installable on most analog and digital coaxial cables using hand crimping tools. They offer better mechanical performance, durability and corrosion resistance than commercial BNC plugs.

The new BNC 75 ohm HDTV can handle data rate up to 3 Gbps or higher, to support SMTPE292 and SMTPE424 standards.
