NORCROSS, Ga., Oct. 1 -- BravePoint(R), Inc. has announced expanded functionality for its popular Business Intelligence solution (BPBI). This solution is designed specifically for cost conscious business leaders who want to get a real-time pulse of their business so they can instantly and clearly view key performance indicators and make proactive decisions to adjust business strategy and exploit market trends. New Features in Version 3:
1. New Portal: A mainstream portal has been integrated with the product to provide a more user friendly and user configurable interface.
No client side software is required. Any authorized user with an Internet connection and proper permissions can immediately access the components.
Authentication can be controlled by the portal engine or may be integrated with your existing corporate security model such as Active Directory or LDAP.
2. Dynamic Dashboards: End users now have the ability to personalize their dashboards with the indicators and measures most relevant to them. Additionally, the user may select the chart type and chart characteristics. All of this is done ''on the fly'' via an intuitive user interface.
3. New Charting Engine: A more robust Flash charting engine has been implemented to provide a richer graphical representation of your data. Several other charting and mapping libraries are included, as well as AJAX support for real time data display.
