Charlotte, NC, October 22, 2009 - Software Toolbox® has released TOP Server Version 5.1, powered by Kepware, to its client base and channel partners. This release delivers enhancements focused on lowering the cost and risk of integrating custom applications and broadening the range of devices TOP Server connects to HMI/SCADA systems.
New features in version 5.1 include:
. OPC-A&E Server Interface. Delivers TOP Server event log data today, and sets the stage for full alarm and event data in coming months
. New drivers for Automation Direct - Productivity 3000 Protocol and Mettler Toledo - Continuous Output Protocol
. Custom Interface Driver Solution. Enables developers to leverage TOP Server, powered by Kepware, as an OPC Server and native HMI/SCADA interface toolkit without needing to learn the intricacies of OPC Servers, native interfaces or custom toolkits
