Liquid Control Corp. Launches Two Precision Automation Platforms at 2002 Assembly Technology Expo

Show Attendees to Demo New P200 and C500 Technologies

North Canton, Ohio -- Attendees at the 2002 Assembly Technology Expo in Rosemont, Illinois will get their first introduction to Liquid Control Corp.'s new Windows®-based dispensing technologies. Hands on demonstrations of the C500 contour motion platform and P200 point to point motion platform are a central feature of Liquid Control's presence at the show.

The C500 3D Contour Motion Platform is the industry's first Windows-based heavy-duty robotic dispensing work cell. Designed specifically for gasketing, doming, scripting and other applications, the C500 seamlessly integrates control, motion and dispensing. Because it is based on a Windows® platform, the user interface reduces operator training and reprogramming time to minutes and enables manufacturers to run leaner operations. The operator selects programs through a flat panel control. In order to reduce the potential for operator error, programming selections can be made by choosing the program name or photos of the part.

"The C500 is very robust and precise," adds Product Manager Fabio Okada. "It maintains constant speed through steep curves with small radii and produces a uniform bead with a nearly indistinguishable knit line on liquid gaskets."

The C500 platform is flexible and configurable for stand-alone, bench-top or in-line conveyor integration. It can deliver dots, lines and contours in 2D and 3D.

Liquid Control's P200 Point to Point Motion Platform was designed for manufacturers who need fast dispensing placement accuracy and repeatability without the expense of coordinated XY movement. The P200 also features downloadable Windows-based
programming software and an easy to understand operator interface for combined motion dispenser operation. Five pallet programs can be stored in the system.

Samples of C500, P200 and other Liquid Control products, as well as the product engineers, can be seen at Assembly Technology Expo Booth #18087 in Hall A of the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center.
