Original Press Release:

Dorell's Model Te-101 Automatic Tray Erector Forms Stackable, Secure Trays Without Hot Melt Or Staples

The new TE-101 automatic tray erector from Dorell Equipment uses a two-stage, flap-folding method to form fold-and-lock trays without the use of adhesives or staples. These multipurpose trays are ideal for the secure packaging and distribution of perishables such as baked goods, produce, and meats, as well as many other retail products. Of benefit to the baking industry, the non-adhesive tray-forming method used by the Dorell TE-101 produces trays that can be used for baking goods in high temperature ovens. For perishables and meats, fold-and-lock trays offer excellent product protection and stacking ability.

At PackExpo International Booth S-123, Dorell Equipment will demonstrate the compact and efficient TE-101 tray erector. In operation, the unique folding method of the TE-101 reduces the effect of variations in corrugated scoring and subsequently results in trays with exceptional stacking strength. The TE-101 works at speeds up to 33 trays/minute and erects many different tray styles, including an optional corner post structure or a telescoping box. A quick no-tool changeover allows the user to switch between various sizes of stackable trays in less than 10 minutes.

The Dorell TE-101 is designed with efficiency, reliability, and safety in mind. Built with safety interlocked "Lexan" windows, the TE-101 also features a welded steel construction and an Allen-Bradley controller. A power magazine with a 600 blank capacity is a new option from Dorell Equipment that will be exhibited in PackExpo Booth S-123.
