When die or job number is put into system for changeover, it will automatically set pressure based on upper die weight. It can also be set up to accept binary input to change jobs remotely. TIS can function in automatic or manual mode, display actual and target pressure, store up to 100 jobs, and provide fill and dump valve pressure alarms.

Automatic Counterbalance; Counterbalance for Press Life & Energy Savings
HOLLAND, OHIO - June 25, 2002 - Toledo Integrated Systems introduces the TIS Automatic Counterbalance. This system will select, adjust and maintain the appropriate air pressure for a press. When the die or job number is put into the system for changeover, it will automatically set the pressure based on upper die weight. It can also be set up to accept a binary input to change jobs remotely. The pressure is then monitored continuously throughout production. The system will maintain the correct pressure for that die.
The TIS Automatic Counterbalance can function in automatic or manual mode. It displays actual and target pressure, stores up to 100 jobs and provides fill and dump valve pressure alarms.
The TIS Automatic Counterbalance helps increase press and motor life, while reducing press maintenance and clutch/brake repairs. It improves safety by helping provide an accurate press stopping time. Also, the TIS Automatic Counterbalance helps conserve energy, air and electric. |
