Fully Automatic Cold Saw
Doringer Cold Saws recently introduced the Doringer Model D-350 FA Fully Automatic Cold.. The 14 inch machine uses the same gear box as the manual D-350, recognized as the leader in the cold saw industry since 1990. The power down feed of the sawhead is and air over hydraulic hydrocheck. We have a fast pneumatic feed of the sawhead to the material, a controlled, infinitely adjustable rate thru the material, and fast pneumatic return of the sawhead.
The material feeder system uses a servomotor with absolute feedback and a ball-screw linear module. The servo-drive, ball-screw feeder system offers 0.002 inch accuracy per foot of travel. The system feeds at 12 IPS and has unlimited multi-strokes. This state of the art feeder system is more accurate, cleaner, and more reliable than the old fashion pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
The programmable controls are factory set and may be easily changed for customized applications.. Simply select the number of cuts and length of cuts, with up to 6 different settings with unlimited number of cuts and push start. The machine makes a trim cut, to insure accuracy, and then follows programmed instructions until completed or runs out of material, and automatically turns off. You can program up to ten "Jobs" and simply enter "Job 5" for repeating sawing schedules. The controller can be linked to a communication port or interfaced with other controllers.
