Pietro Cucchi America is Introducing "ONE," a New Single-Spindle Line of Automatic Bar Feeders
The "ONE" has been designed to outperform any other bar feeder on the market in tough applications such as running hex bar stock at a high rpm.
It features a new hydrodynamic bar guide system together with the patented spring bushing device inside the lathe's spindle.
The One eliminates the need of the lathe's stock stop thanks to a patented device that allows for control of the feed-out within 0.2 mm of accuracy.
The One features a unique and innovative design to synchronize the bar pusher with the lathe's moving headstock without mechanical links. Known as Electrical Axis, such a system is realized through two independent encoders constantly communicating to each other. This design eliminates the response delay typical of mechanical devices and the inertia of the bar pusher on the moving headstock.
The One is now available in a magazine rack configuration for bar stock up to 13' in length and from ¼" to 2" in diameter. A 3 ½" capacity will be available in the near future.
