PEABODY, MA -- The FlexiMate® Automated Guided Vehicle increases productivity by efficiently moving materials in industrial and service environments. The labor-saving vehicle reliably performs repetitive tasks, yielding a fast return on investment.
Ultimately flexible, the battery operated vehicle easily executes a variety of logistical assignments. The program memory stores up to seventeen routing tracks concurrently. An optical guidance system follows routes marked on the floor with rugged stainless steel foil backed by adhesive tape. Material handling assignments are quickly executed by simply changing the marked routes or changing the self-tutoring programmable controller.
Single or multiple loads up to 3300 lbs are effortlessly hauled on all types of wheeled trolleys, pallets, containers and rolls. A steady vehicle speed of 2.5km/h guarantees careful load handling and safety. Battery life under average load is 15h. Compact vehicle size (52.5-in. L X 30-in. H X 28-in. W) and weight (300 lbs) increases agility, allowing for a 28-in. turning circle.
Built-in safety features include: a peripheral rubber bumper-with kill switches, load sensing hitches, a flashing light pole, a buzzer and a radar "cow catcher". Other accessories include: a battery kit with charger, trolley battery charger and a joystick for manual directional moving.
