January 29, 2003 - Horizontal end-load Model SFR Servo (Small Footprint Rotary) cartoner provides complete automatic product handling and cartoning at speeds to 120 cpm. It includes 3-arm rotary carton feeder and adjustable 4-chain captured carton conveying system, which insures maximum carton squareness and control. Stainless steel machine is equipped with Allen-Bradley controls and offers 5 min tool-less changeovers, machine diagnostics, and reporting.

New Compact Auto-Insert Cartoner with Integrated Product Indexing
The NEW stainless steel SFR Servo (Small Footprint Rotary) horizontal end-load cartoner provides complete automatic product handling and cartoning in an extremely compact footprint. In fact, the SFR consumes less floor space than many rival hand-pack machines, while maintaining the ability to handle a generous package size range, at speeds to 120 CPM. It is being demonstrated for the first time at Pack Expo 2002, along with an integrated automatic'smart belt' product infeed timing system
to accept products at random and index them for automatic loading on the narrow-profile, barrel-cam inserter. The SFR includes Kliklok's 3-arm rotary carton feeder, renowned for its efficiency and flexibility in handling diverse grades and weights of paperboard at high speeds. An adjustable 4-chain captured carton conveying system insures maximum carton squareness and control. Following automatic product loading, cartons are closed using an enclosed, pressurized hot-melt adhesive system.
The SFR Servo model extends even greater efficiency with Allen-Bradley controls, 5-minute tool-less changeovers, increased machine diagnostics, expanded reporting and greater operator control. The SFR is constructed of stainless steel and designed with high floor clearance for easy cleaning and access.
