REVOLABS Introduces Professional-Quality, Plug-and-Play Audio Solutions Combining Solo Wireless Microphones and Polycom Vortex Conferencing Systems

MAYNARD, Mass., March 15 -- Revolabs, Inc., dedicated to enhancing enterprise collaboration and corporate productivity through innovative wireless solutions, today announced new, pre-configured, professional-quality room audio and microphone solutions that combine the award-winning Revolabs Solo(TM) wireless encrypted microphone family and the market-leading Polycom Vortex(R) audio conferencing systems. The integrated solutions deliver exceptional sound quality for audio and video applications and feature plug-and-play capabilities that can significantly reduce installation time and cost.

These integrated solutions feature the new Solo Executive 8 and 4 channel BFS systems pre-cabled with Polycom Vortex EF2241 and EF2280 audio conferencing systems for up to four and eight microphone installations. The Vortex systems are pre-configured for the Revolabs lapel and boundary microphones, enabling the flexibility to choose the best microphones for each environment. While these solutions are designed to work with all applicable video and audio systems, there are presets available for interfacing easily to Polycom conference phones and video conferencing systems for a simple 'plug- and-play' setup.

"We have seen widespread adoption of our Solo wireless microphone family and more and more customers want to use our microphones in all their conferencing rooms. While all conference rooms can benefit from our flexible audio solutions, there are many meeting rooms that are not installed due to the larger installation effort and price points typically associated with installed audio," said Martin Bodley, Revolabs' President and Chief Executive Officer. "Our new plug-and-play solutions offer audio performance commonly associated with a professional installation but at price point and ease of installation that make them attractive across many different audio and video conferencing rooms."

The four-channel solution incorporates the Solo Executive 4-channel BFS system, the Vortex EF2241, four microphones with acoustic echo and noise cancellation, and an integrated telephone interface. The eight-channel system incorporates the Solo Executive 8-channel BFS system, the Vortex EF2280 and provides eight microphones with acoustic echo and noise cancellation.

"Pre-configuring Polycom Vortex systems with settings optimized for Revolabs microphones can help customers reduce the time and cost associated with deploying a high performance audio processing solution for a broad range of audio and video applications," said Craig H. Richardson, vice president and general manager of Polycom's installed voice business.

All Revolabs Solo(TM) products contain MaxFlex(TM) technology, enabling multiple systems to be deployed within the same building or campus. The stylish small form factor and features such as data encryption make the patented Solo family of products a true breakthrough in the industry. The new pre-configured solutions combining the Revolabs Solo wireless microphones and Polycom Vortex audio processors come with pre-programmed software that is optimized to work with the Revolabs microphones.

First shipments are scheduled for the second quarter of 2007.
