The Apollo Jammer from Elemental LED Lets Consumers Create an Instant Light Show
Elemental LED releases the Apollo Jammer, a consumer-friendly audio interface that syncs LED lights with music.
San Francisco, CA - Elemental LED, a San Francisco Bay Area-based LED lighting company, released the Apollo Jammer today. The Jammer is an audio interface that connects color-changing LED lights to an audio device so that the lights flash and change colors in response to music and sounds. The Apollo Jammer was designed and engineered by Elemental LED, and is offered at a pocket-friendly price of just $99.

The Jammer connects to audio devices via a standard headphone jack, meaning any MP3 player, smartphone, tablet, computer, television, gaming console or turntable can be connected. The device is compatible with DMX LED lighting devices like color-changing LED wall washers, and 12V RGB LED fixtures, like color-changing LED strip light, light bars and puck lights.
The Jammer audio interface features an intuitive two-button control system. One button allows the user to choose from nine different color-changing modes. The modes let the user decide how much the lights should follow the bass, mid-range and treble. The second button allows the user to adjust the sensitivity for the right level of color-changing intensity.
Elemental LED employees have been leaking news about the Jammer to customers for several months through YouTube videos, Instructables tutorials and blog posts. "The release of the Jammer has been much anticipated by both our employees and our customers," said Elemental LED Marketing Manager Charlotte Dick. Elemental LED has made a tool available for customers to submit videos inspired by the Jammer, asking them "What can you do with the Jammer?" Anyone is welcome to submit links to videos via the Jammer webpage, or the company's YouTube or Facebook page. The company will publish user-submitted videos via a YouTube playlist.
The Apollo Jammer is ready to connect right out of the box. It includes a 12V power adapter and 1 foot of color-changing LED strip light. Also included are several accessories: an RCA plug to stereo jack adapter, audio jack extension, and two-way audio splitter. The Jammer can be made portable by connecting it to a 12V battery pack.
