Use AssetManage 2009 to Track Your Organization's Assets
Liberty Street Software has released AssetManage 2009, a Windows-based asset tracking application. AssetManage lets you to track where your assets are, what state they are in, and who they are currently assigned to. AssetManage keeps track of expenses related to an asset, creates inventories for multiple locations, and lets you attach images, documents and hyperlinks to each asset. With AssetManage 2009, you can organize all of your equipment, tools, furniture, computers, vehicles, and other assets for depreciation and insurance purposes.
The 2009 version now includes the ability to link or kit a group of assets to a parent assets. You can also conduct asset audits and easily Check assets In and out to a employee. Up to 16 images can now be attached to each asset.
AssetManage 2009 is available in two editions, the Standard Edition and an Enterprise Edition. The Standard edition employs a Microsoft Access multi-user ready database, while AssetManage Enterprise will work with any ODBC-compatible database, including SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle.
AssetManage 2009 comes with a comprehensive selection of pre-defined reports. In addition, you can use the integrated report designer to create custom reports, labels, and file cards. You can print your reports, save them to disk, or export them to PDF, HTML, Excel, RTF, XML, text, and other popular formats. With AssetManage you can print your own barcode labels. All standard barcode formats are supported.
Track all of your leases, warranties, and service agreements, as well as asset maintenance and repair history. By attaching all of these documents to the asset description, you ensure that critical information is immediately accessible when you need it. AssetManage 2009 supports the five most commonly used depreciation methods.
