New Articulated Videoscope

Medit, Inc, presents new Quasar Videoscopes designed to complete close up inspections in tight areas. The Quasar Videoscope features 2 and 4 way tip articulation, controlled by a dial on the monitor, to easily navigate through inspection area.

This videoscope is a perfect inspection tool in various areas: automotive inspection, law enforcement, pipe inspection or building. Ultra-narrow 4.3 mm (0.17") diameter of insertion probe makes it the most convenient tool for aircraft maintenance. Such a narrow probe alongside with articulation of tip is most demanded for inspection of PT6 turbines and other parts of aircraft.

These compact and portable Videoscopes have a 4.3" or 5.6" screen to display the live image. The probe tip contains highly sensitive image sensors. These chips generate 100,000-400,000 pixels in 720x480 resolution with a focal range from 10 to 100 mm. They also feature built-in LED lights to illuminate the inspection area. To protect the image sensor in the tip from damages these units also feature a stainless steel braided sheath, which is fully water and oil proof to IP64 - 68 standards.

This Quasar videoscope also features recording of images and video onto SD card, video output to a TV monitor and a rechargeable Li-polymer battery for up to 6 hours of portable work. Please find more information here http://www.fiberscope.net/quasar-2-2-way-articulating-video-borescope.html
