Part of Interna-Rail® and Speed-Rail® lines, Model 87-8 is designed to attach various sizes of handrail to 1½ in. IPS railing posts, while Model 88-8 uses same components with larger mounting plate to attach handrail to wall. Both fittings are machined from aluminum alloy 6063 and feature clear anodized finish as standard. Brackets can also be supplied in dark bronze anodizing finish, mill finish, or powder coated finish. All hardware fasteners are 304 stainless steel.

Two New Architectural Railing Brackets from Hollaender Offer New Design and Configuration Options for Handrail Systems
CINCINNATI, OH - Hollaender Manufacturing has introduced two new architectural railing brackets to its line of Interna-Rail® and Speed-Rail® handrail system fittings. The new 87-8 and 88-8 configurations provide new design and configuration options for handrail system designers and installers.
The new 87-8 railing is designed to attach various sizes of handrail (also called grabrail or assist rail) to 1 ½ inch IPS railing posts, while the 88-8 uses the same components with a larger mounting plate to attach handrail to the wall. Both fittings are machined at Hollaender's Cincinnati plant from aluminum alloy 6063, and are suitable for outdoor or indoor use. The standard finish is clear anodized, but the brackets can be delivered in dark bronze anodizing finish, mill finish or powder coated finish. All hardware fasteners supplied are 304 stainless steel.
Hollaender provides all the hardware required to attach the fitting to the post or wall, as well as the handrail. The 87 attaches to the post with a rivsert and button head bolt, and attaches to the handrail with 2 self tapping screws. The 88 uses the same fasteners to attach to the handrail, while lag bolts are supplied to attach to the wall.
