Envox Worldwide Launches Envox CT ADE 9.2

Major upgrade enables IVR and .NET developers to create cutting edge IP-based voice solutions

WESTBOROUGH, Mass., Jan. 23 - Envox Worldwide, a leading global provider of voice solutions, today announced that it has introduced Envox CT ADE(TM) 9.2, a major upgrade to the most widely used interactive voice response (IVR) development tool in the industry. Key enhancements in Envox CT ADE 9.2 include functionality that enables the development of IP-based voice solutions, including expanded integration with the Microsoft .NET development environment, and powerful computer telephony integration (CTI) capabilities made possible through a native integration with Envox CT Connect(TM).

"The expanded capabilities that we've included in Envox CT ADE 9.2 ensure that all developers, including those working with Microsoft .NET, can dramatically lower the cost and decrease the effort needed to create cutting-edge voice solutions, such as IP-based IVR and contact center solutions, speech-enabled self-service solutions, and unified communication solutions," said Mark D. Flanagan, president and CEO of Envox Worldwide. "The price/performance advantages of Envox CT ADE are well known, and now, with this expanded support for IP-based networks, Envox CT ADE is far and away the most cost-effective application development tool on the market today."

Created for use with Dialogic Corporation's media processing, signaling, and switching products, Envox CT ADE is a rapid application development tool that enables developers to gain significant time-to-market advantages while maintaining full control over the Dialogic(R) API. With Envox CT ADE, developers can create voice solutions that easily integrate voice, fax, conferencing, and advanced speech recognition capabilities. In addition, Envox CT ADE is tightly integrated with the latest automated speech recognition (ASR) and text-to-speech (TTS) engines from Nuance Communications, a leading provider of speech solutions for business and consumers around the world.

New features introduced in Envox CT ADE 9.2 include:

o Enhanced integration with Microsoft .NET - Envox CT ADE 9.2 provides controls that shield the .NET developer from the complexity of low level APIs for advanced speech recognition technologies and media servers, enabling them to increase their productivity and shorten their development cycles.

o IP-Based Conferencing - Envox CT ADE 9.2 includes support for the IP-based conferencing through the Conferencing (CNF) API included with Dialogic's Host Media Processing (HMP) Software 3.0.

o CTI - The new Envox CTI Link for Envox CT ADE enables developers to add sophisticated CTI functionality to their voice solutions. Developers can now call Envox CT Connect(TM) 7 routines from within their voice solutions, making it easy to integrate them with all the leading IP and traditional (TDM) PBXs from companies such as Alcatel, Avaya, Cisco, Nortel and Siemens. Envox CT Connect is the world's most widely used CTI software, currently serving more than 1 million contact center agents globally.

o Support for additional IP media and SS7 boards Additional Dialogic Digital Station Interface Boards and Dialogic High Density SS7 boards are now supported by Envox CT ADE 9.2, enabling developers to create converged IP PBX and contact center solutions on open, standards-based platforms.

Developers are already experiencing the benefits provided by Envox CT ADE 9.2. For example, CallCommand(TM), a leading provider of communication solutions for automotive retailers and OEMs, is using Envox CT ADE to power their voice solutions.

"Envox CT ADE provides us with a powerful application development tool that significantly accelerates our time-to-market," said John Schellenberger, CallCommand's Telephony Architect. "The major enhancements that Envox Worldwide has included in this version of the product enable us to easily leverage new standards and emerging technologies such as VoIP."
