April 16, 2002 - Noise Abater vinyl, nonwoven, continuous-filament bonded fabric reduces noise levels. It has vinyl loop that traps noise and reduces noise levels by as much as 10 to 12 dBA. Fabric can be incorporated on new equipment and machinery, attached directly to existing machinery using bolts or epoxy, and can be used to contain noise in a designated area by hanging it as a curtain around production lines or machine operator stations. It resists most oils and chemicals.

Noise Abater is a vinyl, nonwoven, continuous-filament bonded product that is designed to reduce noise levels in industrial settings. The product incorporates a vinyl loop design that traps noise and disarms it. Reduction of as much as 10 to 12 dba is possible, according to the manufacturer. To reduce harmful noise levels at the source, this product can be incorporated as an OEM application on new equipment and machinery, or it can be attached directly to existing machinery using bolts or a special epoxy.
