Construction comprises 3 layers: UV-resistant and anti-condensation outer layer, middle adhesive layer, and soft inner layer. Elkhart, IN - Transhield, Inc. offers custom fit covers to protect new and out of service aircrafts and aircraft parts such as engines, landing gears and other parts subject to damage during transportation and long and short term storage.
Transhield covers are made from Shrinkable Fabric(TM) and consist of three layers: an outer layer that is UV-resistant and anti-condensation, a middle adhesive layer and a soft inner layer.
These covers feature the patented Adhesive Additive Delivery - Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (AAD-VCI) system which provides 100% protection from corrosion during transportation and storage.
