Series GG grippers offer up to 35° stroke per jaw to allow clearance for tooling fingers. Opening angle is adjustable via screw on top of gripper. Main air connections are on front of unit with alternate air connections on back and bottom. NC models have spring failsafe device to keep jaws closed in event of pressure loss. Five sizes are offered with gripping force up to 2700 N. Units are suitable for machining and grinding applications.

New Angular Grippers from Techno-Sommer Feature Fully Sealed Design and Adjustable Stroke
New Hyde Park, NY - A new series of grippers from Techno-Sommer, Inc. called the GG-Series features a fully sealed design and adjustable stroke. This family of grippers is fully sealed against dust, dirt, coolant, etc., allowing it to be used in machining and grinding environments. They are ideal for use in wet or dirty applications.
The GG-series also features up to 35° stroke per jaw to allow wide clearance for tooling fingers. The opening angle is adjustable via an adjustment screw on top of gripper to minimize open and close times. For added mounting flexibility, there are main air connections on the front of the unit as well as alternate air connections on the back and bottom. The NC models of these grippers are available with a spring failsafe device to keep the jaws closed in the event of a pressure loss so that parts are not dropped. There are 5 different sizes available in this gripper design with up to 2700N of gripping force.
