November 8, 2001 - Miller Disposable Concrete Anchor Straps create secure point of attachment in concrete construction. They feature 1-3/4 in. wide abrasion-resistant nylon webbing with 7,000 lb tensile strength. Models are available with steel D-ring or web loop with inner wear pad, both withstanding up to 5,000 lb. Standard lengths include 2 and 4 ft.

New Miller(R) Disposable Anchorage Connector Provides Fall Protection Attachment in Concrete Applications
FRANKLIN, Pa. (Oct. 1, 2001) - Dalloz Fall Protection offers a new means of creating a secure point of attachment in concrete construction with the new Miller Disposable Concrete Anchor
Strap uniquely designed to provide a temporary fall protection anchorage connector on concrete forms.
The anchor strap loop is positioned on the rebar, and concrete is poured over the loop and adjoining protective nylon sleeve to hold the strap securely in place. Once the concrete sets, a
safe anchorage exists. A worker may then attach a shock-absorbing lanyard or self-retracting lifeline to the anchor strap D-ring. When the anchorage is no longer needed, workers simply cut the protruding strap and discard it.
Available in two models, the Miller Disposable Concrete Anchor Strap features:
* Durable construction with 1-3/4 inch (44mm) wide abrasion-resistant nylon webbing providing a 7,000 lb. (3OkN) tensile strength and a protective outer nylon sleeve
* Heavy-duty capacity on both the steel D-ring model and web loop with inner wear pad model. Each can withstand up to 5,000 lbs. (22kN)
* Lengths that meet worker needs with standard lengths of 2 feet (6m) and 4 feet (1.2m) and additional lengths available
* OSHA compliance -- the Miller Disposable Concrete Anchor Strap meets all applicable OSHA guidelines
