First-Ever Analog Clock with Microprocessor Technology and Five Year Warranty Keeps Hospitals, Schools, Offices on Time and In-Synch

MERIDEN, Conn., Feb. 28 / -- Pyramid Technologies, a leading manufacturer of commercial wall clocks and time and attendance systems, today introduced the first analog clock to run on microprocessor technology with a standard five year warranty. The 5200 Analog Clock is ideal for use in schools, hospitals, factories, government offices, corporations and other environments where multiple clocks must be precisely synchronized.

"Our customers depend on integrated clock systems to help their operations run smoothly," remarked George Bucci, Pyramid's chief engineer. "By using microprocessor technology, Pyramid clocks will run better longer. Most clocks today are powered by motors, which work well but wear out over time. With microprocessor technology, we can offer accuracy and superior durability, and still remain competitive price-wise. I'm excited about this product and pleased to announce that it is just one of the many exciting enhancements we'll be rolling out this year."

"By more than doubling the standard warrantee for an analog clock, we have reduced our customers' cost of ownership," said Manny DaSilva, VP of sales and marketing at Pyramid. "With a five year warrantee on our analog clocks, our customers can expect a reduction in both maintenance and replacement costs. This is a tremendous increase in value-with no price increase."

Made in the United States, the 5200 Analog Clock is designed for use with the company's 7000 Master Controller, a device that can directly power and synchronize both analog and digital clocks. The clock also works with other manufacturers' master systems, regardless of the technology they use.

Pyramid Technologies' 5200 Analog Clock features:
o A legible typeface for easy reading
o A durable ABS case
o A clear, durable and scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens
o A silent, sweeping second hand
o 58th minute, 59th minute, and binary coded decimal (BCD) correction
o All necessary wiring for easy installation
