Quantum Controls, Inc. Releases Extended Power Range QC6210 Four Quadrant Amplifier/Controller


Minneapolis, MN - December 22, 2008 - Driven by market demand, Quantum Controls, Inc. has released the QC6210 Series Four Quadrant Amplifier/Controller. As a new, extended power range version of the popular QC6200, this new product operates across the range of 7 - 24VAC or 10 - 30 VDC at up to 30A.

Quantum's QC6210 is the ideal choice for a variety of speed and positioning control applications including industrial vehicles, conveyors, machine tools, web guidance, packaging machines, assembly machines and other equipment that requires cost effective bi-directional speed, torque or position control. An economical, open frame, high performance four quadrant amplifier, the 6210 is designed for use in velocity and position control applications requiring high acceleration and stable performance. With adjustable current limits, loop gain and independent ramp times for each direction, plus multiple operating modes, the QC6210 offers the OEM or integrator a cost effective, flexible controller in a small, low form factor package.
