Wausau Offers Copper Anodize for Epic Series Windows

Wausau, Wis.) - Wausau Window and Wall Systems offers Epic Series windows in copper anodize. Developed primarily for aesthetically sensitive renovation projects, Epic Series windows feature a beveled exterior face replicating the historic styling of classic steel and wood windows, while offering modern, high performance. Part of the expanded Advantage by Wausau product line, Epic Series windows are competitively priced, quality aluminum windows that have been pre-engineered to meet tight schedules and budgets.

The new copper color extends Epic Series' broad palette of finishes. According to Linetec, Wausau's finishing supplier, the copper color maintains its desired color over time and under harsh environmental conditions. When introduced to the market in May, Linetec's president Rick Marshall stated, "Now, we can offer our customers the look of rich, real copper without such shortcomings as salt run-off stains, galvanic corrosion and patina."

The copper anodize has been tested to meet all AAMA 611 Class 1 specifications requiring five year weathering tests. Furthermore, Wausau's Epic Series windows have earned an AW60 rating by meeting the industry's most stringent requirements for air infiltration, water resistance, life cycle testing and structural integrity.

As with all of its products, Advantage by Wausau's product line combines advanced technology and skilled craftsmanship to manufacture finished products with long-term performance and enduring aesthetics. The company stands behind its products with a limited warranty of up to 10 years.

For nearly 50 years, Wausau has worked closely with architects, building owners and contractors to realize their vision for aesthetic beauty and lasting value, while striving to maintain the highest level of customer service, communication and overall satisfaction.

Wausau is a part of Apogee Enterprises, Inc., a publicly held, U.S. corporation. For more information on Wausau Window and Wall Systems, please call (877) 678-2983, or visit http://www.wausauwindow.com.
