Available on all under body style toolboxes, chrome finish T-latch is built with closing draw-down utilizing compression roller cam for tight weather-resistant seal. It has large-grip ergonomic handle and is blind-mounted to toolbox, so no fasteners are visible. Latch comes with car-grade double-sided key for locking protection, and also includes pad locking capability for added security. Toolboxes are made from fully welded, 3/16 in. aluminum.

RANDOLPH, Ohio (02-03-06) -- East Manufacturing now offers a new advanced-design T handle latch on select aluminum toolboxes. The new T-latch blends a sleek chrome finish appearance with several beneficial functional features.
It is built with a closing draw-down utilizing a compression roller cam for a tight weather-resistant seal. The latch has a large-grip ergonomic handle that's easy to use, even with a gloved hand. The T-latch is blind-mounted to the toolbox, so no fasteners are visible. It comes with a car-grade double-sided key for locking protection, and also includes pad locking capability for added security.
The new T-latch is available on all East under body style toolboxes, including the Step-N-Store series models. East toolboxes are the only truly "heavy-duty" aluminum toolboxes on the market with 3/16" aluminum that are fully (not stitch) welded for extra strength and durability.
