St. Louis - April 15, 2004 - New Stoody® 1334 alloy exceeds the wear life of typical amorphous type alloy when twin-wire arc sprayed.

Stoody 1334 coatings provide outstanding bond strength and wear resistance when deposited on boiler tubes and Yankee drier rolls. It demonstrates outstanding sprayability and is best finished with diamond wheels. The 1/16" diameter twin wire is available on a 25-lb. fiber spool. It is priced at a fraction of the cost of established, competitive product alternatives.
