Durable release film bonds to applied surface, allowing for multiple release cycles with no transfer to molded part. Low Cost All Purpose Release Agent

The McLube Division of McGee Industries, Inc. has developed a new water based all-purpose release agent and coating for the release of rubber and plastic parts. MAC-678 is supplied as a concentrate that can be diluted with normal plant water. It will apply a durable release film that will bond to the applied surface allowing for multiple release cycles with no transfer to the molded part. The product has the flexibility to be applied highly diluted as a touch-up spray or can be lightly diluted to be used as a semi-permanent release coating. MAC-678 has proven to perform well with a variety of parts and compounds. It is thermally and chemically stable with a shelf life of one year. Proven benefits experienced with molding include-durability, excellent slip, no transfer, superior part appearance elimination of non-fill and low cost. The product is suitable for food and medical parts containing no hazardous ingredients. The product is environmentally and worker friendly.
