Schmidt Bulk Abrasive Airblasting Systems Ideal For High Volume Blasting

Fresno, TX - (May 17, 2002) - Schmidt(TM) bulk abrasive airblasting systems are designed to maximize the cost savings of volume production. They are ideal for shipyards, tank farms, storage tank cleaning/depainting, antenna arrays, industrial blasting and other jobs where high volume, high productivity work is performed. These high performance systems use efficient piping designed to provide the lowest possible pressure drop and highest productivity in the industry. Blasting systems feature Schmidt multi-outlet Thompson Valve(TM) II controls that allow each operator independent control of his abrasive media flow; optional remote abrasive cutoff, and pneumatic or electric deadman controls. All systems include normally closed, fail-safe metering and control valves for the highest level of quality and safety. These systems use significantly less abrasive--minimizing downtime, saving on abrasive costs, and requiring less
cleanup and disposal. Standard bulk systems include 120, 160, 500, 650 and 800 cu. ft. models. Optional trailers are available for 120 and 160 cu. ft. systems. Custom systems can be designed to meet specific needs. For more information on this product, call Schmidt at 800-231-2085.
