Technologically Advanced Design Features Provide Enhanced Cost/Value Advantages with New Isonic® MOD3+ Air Valves

New patented Isonic® MOD3+ series air valve technology incorporates upgraded internal wiring, a built-in PCB connector, and snap-on installation – with all valve components encapsulated in a half-shell thermoplastic valve body. The MOD3+ is constructed from a high performance glass filled thermo-plastic for superior chemical, heat and impact resistance. Since all connections are integral to the valve body, no additional wiring, connectors, or fittings are required to install the valves, reducing labor costs. Because electrical and pneumatic connections are made simultaneously without tools, the advanced technology half-shell design makes installation inherently easier and faster.

The unique modular design accommodates three and four way single and double solenoid valves, as well as direct acting valves on the same manifold in a highly versatile, expandable control base. A simple release enables the operator to remove a valve with the press of a finger, and a replacement valve can be pushed in place as easily as plugging in an electrical cord. The installation system virtually eliminates downtime, providing further cost savings.

The technologically advanced MOD3+ series is unique in its simplicity, offering the most advanced design of any valve manifold system available, at a significantly lower cost than other comparable valve manifold systems.

Since 1939, Mead Fluid Dynamics, Inc. has introduced a stream of innovative technological advances to the field of pneumatic components – including control valves, cylinders, specialty valves, and production devices. For more information about Mead’s products visit our website at www.mead-usa.com
