SKC Introduces the Grab Air Sample Pump
SKC Inc., Eighty Four, PA – The battery-operated Grab Air Sample Pump for collection of air into sample bags to assess exposure from airborne chemical hazards is designed to run at 1 L/min efficiently and reliably. The Grab Air Sampler is useful in areas where leaks, spills, or other potentially hazardous events have occurred and the concentration is above the detection limits of common analytical instruments. Grab Air operates on a disposable 9-volt battery yielding up to 1000 liters volume. An LED indicates low battery. The Grab Air Sample Pump is recommended for sample bags up to 10 liters in capacity.
The Grab Air Sampler pulls air containing the sample into the pump at approximately 1 L/min and immediately exhausts it into a sample bag connected to the pump with Teflon® tubing. Sampling is complete when the bag is properly filled.
