Type 316 Stainless Steel Super Air Knife Resists Corrosion

EXAIR's new Type 316 Stainless Steel Super Air Knife(TM) offers an efficient way to create an air barrier, blowoff, clean, and dry in highly corrosive environments. The high volume, high velocity airstream is ideal for blocking harmful vapors and fumes on plating operations, blowing corrosive chemicals off parts, drying pharmaceutical products, and cooling hot materials such as molten glass, castings and molded parts.

The Type 316 Stainless Steel Super Air Knife ejects a small amount of compressed air through a thin slotted nozzle. This uniform sheet of high velocity air immediately pulls in surrounding room air and amplifies it at a ratio of 40:1. Air consumption is 1/3 that of typical blowoffs and the noise level is extremely quiet at 69 dBA. It can withstand temperatures up to 800°F (427°C) and has no moving parts to wear out. Compressed air inlets are located on each end and the bottom for easy hookup.

The Type 316 Stainless Steel Super Air Knife can be mounted end-to-end without dead spots and is perfect for mounting in tight places. There are many stock lengths from 3" to 54" and unlimited system lengths on special order. Prices start at $375.
