Unconventional Air Cylinders
Mack Corporation releases an additional product line to it's family of unconventional air cylinders for space limited applications in automation fixtures and general purpose tooling.
Fluid transfer thru O-ring seals on the cylinder mounting face is a unique feature. Flow passages can then be built into a user's structure at any convenient location where all plumbing connections are outside the "work zone".
Standard products are offered with short strokes in sizes from one to six inch diameters in all basic cylinder configurations including double ended pistons.
Benefits to the user includes a reduction in fixture size, a more efficient arrangement in the area where work is processed, avoids accidental damage to supply lines, eliminates build up of debris near fittings and makes for easy mounting and removal of cylinders.
