Available in ½, ¾, 1 1/16, 1½, 2, 2½, 3, and 4 in. bore sizes, NB Series interchangeable compact air cylinders have cylinder tube constructed of impact resistant and self-lubricating high strength composite material. They include composite bearing material Duralon®, which is resistant to corrosion, moisture, and temperatures up to 325°F. Options include non-rotating piston rod, multi-stage, and multi-position, as well as standard double-rod and single-acting configurations.

Numatics is pleased to announce the release of the NB Series. The NB Series is an innovative interchangeable compact air cylinder line that is loaded with features and benefits. The NB Series is designed to excel in the most challenging compact air cylinder applications.
The NB Series is available in the following 8 bore sizes: ½", ¾", 1-1/16", 1-½", 2", 2-½", 3" and 4". The NB Series integrates several cutting edge technologies throughout the product design. This is apparent by the durable tube construction. The standard cylinder tube is a high strength composite material that is highly impact resistant and self-lubricating. Furthermore, the extremely smooth interior of the tube enables a very low coefficient of friction.
When it comes to air cylinder cycle life, the better the bearing, the more cycle life you can expect. The NB Series includes a robust bearing material - Duralon®. Duralon® is a composite material with a Teflon®/Dacron® fabric liner bonded to a supporting filament. Duralon® is highly resistant to corrosion, moisture, and temperatures up to 325° F.
The NB Series product family includes a multitude of highly desirable options, i.e., non-rotating piston rod, multi-stage, and multi-position configurations. Other popular standard options include double-rod and single-acting (both spring-extend and spring-return).
