February 22, 2005 - Featuring cast iron construction, heavy-duty CA series incorporates steel ASME air receiver, totally enclosed belt guard, and stainless steel valves. Series includes Simplex tank-mounted, electric, single- and 2-stage models rated ½â€“15 hp, 95–125 psi and 3–15 hp, 145–175 psi, respectively. Tank-mounted, gasoline-driven, 2-stage models are rated 5½â€“18 hp, 145–175 psi, while Duplex tank-mounted, electric, 2-stage models are rated 5–15 hp, 145–175 psi.

Curtis CA Series Air Compressors – For Heavy-Duty Automotive and Industrial Applications

St. Louis – Curtis-Toledo offers their CA series line of heavy-duty automotive and industrial air compressors. Models include Simplex tank mounted electric two stage (3-15 HP; 145-175 PSI); Simplex tank mounted electric single stage (1/2-15 HP; 95-125 PSI); tank mounted gasoline driven two stage (5 ½ -18 HP; 145-175 PSI); and Duplex tank mounted electric two stage (5-15 HP; 145-175 PSI).

Maximum durability is assured with heavy-duty cast iron construction, heavy gauge steel ASME air receiver, totally enclosed OSHA-approved belt guard, heavy-duty stainless steel valves, long-life industrial design compression and oil control rings, ductile iron crank shaft and large main roller bearings…all as standard equipment.

Options include air-cooled and water-cooled aftercooler, magnetic motor starter, dual control, low oil level shutdown switch, automatic tank drain, tank isolation pads and Curtis CR series refrigerated air dryer.
