May 6, 2004 - CAP™ Clean Air Plant model CAP-600 is portable bio-oxidizer that controls indoor air quality by destroying organic contaminants. Contaminants, along with odors that they generate, are attracted to clean air zone and oxidized. Clean air zone also reduces intensity of sudden release of air toxins, while rapidly deteriorating toxic levels of contaminants. It requires no elevated temperatures, pressures, or excess energy to operate.

New CAP-600 Eliminates Odors and VOCs While Saving on Energy Costs

The new CAP™ Clean Air Plant model CAP-600, recently installed at a fragrance and chemical manufacturing facility, eliminates VOCs and associated odors by controlling indoor air quality.

This portable, bio-oxidizer can be placed close to the line, where odors are generated. By treating their indoor air, the company has reduced the use of exhaust fans, saved on energy costs and usage, and eliminated nuisance odor complaints.

Improved air quality in the work areas, lunch rooms, and office areas has also benefitted employees and workers.

The CAP-600 was designed to replace the CAP-350. Additional new models developed recently include the CAP-2500, CAP-5000 and the CAP X-Series, which handle highly contaminated waste streams.

The CAP™ Clean Air Plant is a small, portable bio-oxidizer which controls indoor air quality by destroying organic contaminants. In large contaminated areas or in cases of accidental spills involving toxic gases or vapors, CAPs can be placed directly in the area of greatest concentration to minimize exposure. In smaller applications, CAPs can be placed in offices or in rooms to improve indoor air quality. CAPs are designed to create a radius of influence which expands and creates a clean air zone. Contaminants, along with the odors that they generate, are attracted to this clean air zone, where they are oxidized. This clean air zone is beneficial in reducing the intensity of sudden releases of air toxins while rapidly deteriorating toxic levels of contaminants.

Bio-oxidation is a sustainable technology which does not require elevated temperatures or pressures or excess energy to operate. CAPs are the first portable, bio-oxidizers to control indoor air quality and the only systems that address indoor air dynamics by creating a clean air zone.

CAP™ Clean Air Plants are designed and distributed by Air & Water Solutions, Inc.
