Supplied with 2 non-contact analog output LVDTs, VCS15-050-AB-LV-2 dual-axis positioning system requires 60 psi clean filtered compressed air and delivers non-contact, frictionless motion. Each head is driven by NCC moving coil type linear actuator and guided by 2 porous carbon air bushings floating on 2 precision parallel shafts. Each voice coil has 1.5 in. stroke and generates 8.4 lb of continuous force (25.2 lb peak). High flex ribbon cable is rated 100,000,000 cycles.

H2W's dual head voice coil air bearing positioning Stage (VCS15-050-AB-LV-2) is a precision, air bearing, two axis positioning system for high end applications. Each head is driven by a NCC moving coil type linear actuator and is guided by two porous carbon air bushings floating on two precision parallel shafts. Each voice coil has a 1.5" [38.1 mm] stroke, generates 8.4 lbs [37.4 N] of continuous force and 25.2 lbs [112 N] of peak force. It is supplied with two non-contact analog output LVDTs. Digital output linear encoders are available as a option. Requires 60 psi of clean filtered compressed air.
