October 12, 2004 - Skyjack Mid-Size 4WD Rough Terrain scissor lifts are offered in 4 models with 64 x 116.5 in. platforms, working heights to 56 ft, and capacities to 1,500 lb. Standard features include rear-loading gate, tilt alarm with drive/lift cut-off, 110 V GFI ac outlet, grip lug air filled tires, and lockable cabinets. They are drivable at full height on firm level surface and come equipped with joystick control designed to prevent inadvertent operation.

Skyjack Mid Size Rough Terrain Aerial Work Platforms

When demand calls for reaching working heights up to 56’ (17.1m) and capacities up to 1500 lbs (680kg), choose a MID SIZE, standard 4WD, Skyjack. With gradeability to 30% and immense 64” x 116.5” (1.62m x 2.96m) roll-out platforms expanded, these rough terrain machines provide extensive job-site work support, wherever. Skyjack MID SIZE ROUGH TERRAIN (RT) Aerial Work Platforms Models 7127, 7135, 8243 and 8850.

Skyjack MID SIZE RT’s pack in more performance than many competitive full size models. Power-up for any job-site environment with a choice of engines from a liquid-cooled dual fuel to efficient diesel. All models come equipped with a simple and safe proportional joystick control designed to prevent inadvertent operation - an ever-so-important benefit to a multi-user work force.

Standard features include rear-loading gate, tilt alarm with drive/lift cut-off, 110V GFI protected AC outlet on the platform, grip lug air filled tires, lockable cabinets, drivable at full height on firm level surface and more. Safety features are abundant starting with Skyjack’s hallmark scissor design that maximizes rigidity and stability thus promoting increased worked productivity, lift relief valve that limits capacities, manual lowering valve and all motion audible alarm.

Load them up with a full compliment of convenience and performance options such as independent hydraulic leveling outriggers, 3500 Watt generators, power extension decks and much more. Load them onto a trailer or elevated work area with standard built-in lanyard and forklift accommodations.

As with all Skyjacks, the MID SIZED RT’s are designed to be ‘The Most Field-Service Friendly’ aerial work platforms available. Anywhere. Reduced and simplified maintenance come standard with debris-resisting slide-out engine trays, color-coded wiring, dry-packed scissor bearings, oil level sight glass and hour meter to facilitate with proper maintenance intervals.
